Cost and Registration
For the April retreat, all rooms are in the Camp Lodge. There are private rooms and shared rooms available, with either a queen bed or two twin beds. The day rate allows locals to commute from home or stay with friends on the North Shore. The day rate is also available to visitors who rent a room nearby.
Writers check in Monday afternoon, checking out Sunday by noon. All meals are included in the rates for attendees staying at the Camp. Day rates are available for those who do not wish lodging. (Individual meals for guests can be arranged.)
RATES FOR APRIL 2026
$2,700 — Workshops + premium private room (queen) + all activities + all meals SOLD OUT
$2,400 — Workshops + private room (twin beds) + all activities + all meals SOLD OUT
$1,800 — Workshops + shared room (one roommate) + all activities + all meals
$1,200 — Non-writing companion + all activities + all meals
$1,200 — Day rate (no lodging) + all activities + all meals
PLEASE NOTE: There are two rooms available on the mauka (mountain) side of the building. They do have en suite bathrooms, but they lack an ocean view. These are available for a single writer or for writers who want to share, at the prices listed above ($2400 or $1800). Please email Connie if interested.
And there is a share possibility in a lovely cottage about a mile away. Suitable for two female writers with cars or with the willingness to walk back and forth to the Camp. ($1800). Please email Connie if interested.
Saturday only
Island writers who can’t attend the full retreat are welcome to join us for Saturday, April 26 only. The day includes a morning generative writing workshop and afternoon sessions on composition, polishing your prose, and manuscript mastery.
$160 — Saturday-only (no lodging) + all three workshops + lunch

Cancellation Policy
All cancellation requests must be made in writing - no exceptions. Because the retreat sells out each year, and because it is hard to fill slots at the last minute, we do stick to a strict cancellation policy:
--If you cancel before March 21, you will receive a full refund minus a $150 administration fee.
--If you cancel between March 21 and April 7, you will receive a refund of 50 percent.
--If you cancel after April 7, there is no refund, but Connie will work with full enrollees to provide two to three hours hours of private instruction or coaching.
--if you registered for Saturday only, the low ticket price is actually less than our administrative costs. But we will refund 50 percent of the fee for those who cancel before April 7.

For participants, we can provide an FAQ about the stunning location on O‘ahu's North Shore as well as some travel advice. However, we have our hands full, so we cannot be personal travel agents. Please avail yourselves of a good guidebook or the site of the O‘ahu Visitors Bureau.
